Fall Youth Day
Such a fun youth day!
The kids got to participate in hands on activities that really drove home, the power of words and the benefits of the armor of God.
They each were given a tube of toothpaste & able to squeeze out as much as they could. Then they had to try and put it back into the tube. It was easy to see that it’s a lot more simple to say things in the spur of the moment, than it is to try and take them back (James 1:19).
Then they were all given an orange and placed it in the water. When the orange is fully in tact it will float. But if you peel it, it will drop to the bottom and sink. Much like us-when we wear the armor of God, we are protected and stay above water. But when we decide to take it off, our protection is gone and we sink into the worries & cares of the world.

They also had some fun crafts and games! This was the perfect way to help send these sweet kids into the school year.
